Grammy-nominated flutist, composer, and vocalist Nathalie Joachim will be performing the live West Coast premiere of her evening-length work for voice, flute, string quartet and electronics, titled “Fanm d’Ayiti” (Women of Haiti).

The one-hour program is a celebration of some of Haiti’s most iconic yet under-recognized female artists, as well as an exploration of Joachim’s Haitian heritage, featuring original songs that incorporate recorded voices and recorded interviews with some of the greatest known female voices in Haitian history.

This is a rare opportunity to see this rising star perform her Grammy-nominated program in collaboration with Art of Elan musicians Kate Hatmaker, Wesley Precourt, Hanah Stuart and Alex Greenbaum in a stunning new Little Italy venue.

Drinks will be served at this event, but all ages are welcome. Doors and Bar open at 6pm with wood-fired pizzas available to purchase from Cucina Caprese.

For everyone's safety:
All food and drinks must be consumed outdoors
All guests must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the event
Masks are mandatory for all guests indoors
All Art of Elan artists (including guest artists) are fully vaccinated and testing regularly
