We are so excited to be in person again! Our Spring Festival date is TBA, and it will be held at the Encinitas Community Center. All festival attendees will receive a lovely printed program booklet. The printed program book is often a keepsake and held on to for many years. Additionally a PDF program will be shared on the SDFG website,  in the April newsletter, and with our contacts. Please consider advertising with us. 

Our prestigious Young Artist Competition for ages 18-30 attracts the best flutists from all over the country to participate and the first prize is $1,500. The finalist round for the Young Artist Competition will be held in person, in addition to competitions for younger students including Youth Artist Senior, Youth Artist Junior, Youth Artist Elementary, and the new Rising Star Scholarship for 12th grade graduating flutists pursuing music in college.

There will be an exhibit hall with flute and music vendors. There will also be a full schedule of flute activities such as a warm up class, performance workshops, a winners recital featuring the Young Artist Competition winners (18-30), festival division evaluations all day for all ages (elementary through college, adult non-professional, and piccolo), and a masterclass and recital with our featured guest artist.
